COALITION BUILD
Connect with GSAs from other schools for a community meetup on campus or in a local 2SLGBTQIA+ space.

PLAN EVENTS
Connect new students to your alliance by hosting events open to your school community, like a clothing swap!
GETTING CREATIVE

START A BOOK CLUB
Looking to talk about 2SLGBTQIA+ stories? Read a book together as a GSA!

HOST AN ARTS NIGHT
Host nights of poetry, music, live painting, and much more! Gather within your GSA or open to the wider school.

MAKE A ZINE TOGETHER
Self-publish your own mini-magazine about the things your GSA cares about.

MAKE GSA CRAFTS
Make buttons and patches, using supplies from your school’s art department, or our art-making resources!

DO A POSTER CAMPAIGN
Create educational posters about 2SLGBTQIA+ topics, or do promote your GSA activities.

PAINT A WALL MURAL
With consent from school admin, create a public mural together! Reach out to the Youth Project for support if needed.
FUNDRAISING IDEAS
a themed party or dance
invite your supporters and allies to a themed party or dance with a cover or donation box, and let party-goers know if funds donated will go to a GSA project or to a community fund.
a bake sale or food festival
nourish your school community with delicious snacks and meals made by members/allies/friends/family/etc, in exchange for funds towards your GSA project or community fund.
a film screening or art exhibition
host the screening of a movie your GSA loves, or put together an installation in a school space where community members can donate to your GSA project or community fund.
